The Power of Love

Matt Fortnow dedicates his life to spreading love and peace to the world.  As an entertainment lawyer, movie producer and Internet entrepreneur, Fortnow was a powerful man, in control of his life.  Then, a few years ago, he was hit with a sudden, unknown illness that took that control away.  A long list of doctors and false diagnoses couldn’t tell him what was wrong.  He eventually found his way to doctor Habib Sadeghi, whose philosophy includes applying love as part of the healing process.  He diagnosed Matt with heavy-metal poising and began a treatment of chelation as well as love and mediation.

His overwhelming experience compelled him to find a way for his friends, family and the global community to spread love every day.  Matt saw mobile phones becoming an extension of us and thought it was time to leverage this connectivity to the world in a positive way and created LovePowerup.  This app lets smartphone users send love to people around the world and receive it back.  Matt believes that the action of sending or receiving love not only makes people feel better but increases the overall power of love, bringing us a little closer to world peace.  ~  Jenna James
