Day 17 Law of Attraction Centering Thought

I am aware of which of my thoughts I give the power of attention to.

Don’t believe everything you think.  ~  Thomas Kida

The more power one gives to (one’s) thought – the more completely (they) believe that (their) thought has power – the more power will it have.  ~  Ernest Holmes

This month we invite you to Live With Intention

THIRTY – DAY INTENTION INVITATION

Every morning
Begin your day by saying:

I intend to see,
I expect to see,
Wherever I am, whatever I am doing,
Who ever I am doing it with,
I intend to see that which I want to see.

What is Wanted

One way to see what you want to see no matter the circumstance is to ferret out of the experience what is wanted and think or talk about that.

If you see what you want to see, then your attention, your thoughts, are on what resonates with the fullness of all you are, you feel pleasant feelings and allow the attraction of more of what you want.

Fine, but what if right in front of you is not what you want to see or hear? You might try the LaDonna Method. In her job as bartender she sure heard a lot of what she didn’t want to hear. So as someone was reciting their story she was focused on what they were clarifying they wanted. She would then ask them what they wanted.

Also, by being a sleuth looking for what is wanted in a story, you may be able to articulate back to the person the clarity gained from the circumstance. “Boy you sure don’t want that to happen again. It is clear you want………”

HAPPINESSISNOWHERE

What do you see? When Dr. Robert Holden of the Happiness Project puts this slide up at workshops he gets two distinct answers, one being happiness is no where, the other being happiness in now here. Often then…

The difference between “happiness is nowhere”
and “happiness is now here” has nothing to do
with the event, and everything to do with how
you see the event. Your perception is key.

Abraham on happiness…
The secret of creating anything desired: Get HAPPY!
As you practice happy thoughts, you practice your connection with Source and Well-Being. From your place of being happy – you have access to all that you desire.

Selfishly seek joy, because your joy is the greatest gift you can give to anyone. Unless you are in your joy, you have nothing to give anyway.

Zen Story
A young student encounters a well-respected Zen Master, noted especially for his perpetual grace and happiness.
“Master, I dream of everlasting happiness. What is the highest wisdom you can teach me?” asked the student.
The master smiled. He took his brush and wrote, as if for the first time: “Attention.”
“Wonderful,” said the student, “and what comes next after attention?”
The master smiled. He took his brush and wrote, as if the first time: “Attention. Attention.”
“Yes,” nodded the student, utterly perplexed. “Anything more?”
The master smiled. He took his brush and wrote, as if for the first time: Attention. Attention. Attention.”
“Okay, so what does ‘attention’ mean? Asked the student, unable to see.
The master spoke: “Attention means attention.”
“Is that all?” asked the student, obviously dispirited.
“Attention is all,” said the master. “Without attention, happiness is nowhere; with attention, happiness is now here. Attention is freedom from all. Attention offers all.”

Process
Continue each morning and say the Intention Invitation. The first question you might ask is what is that you want to see? What do you want to put your attention on seeing? We suggest this as a topic for a journal entry. Perhaps begin a list and then choose one as the focus for a day.

You might also try the LaDonna Method we mentioned. When in a conversation and others may have talked of what they don’t want, focus on what they are clarifying they do want. Ask them what they want or articulate what you hear they want from what they shared.
